Child relief, respect for children’s rights and the protection of children have been at the heart of the mission of the Terre des Hommes movement for 60 years.

This movement is composed of several organisations including Terre des Hommes Suisse, based in Geneva, which works for the defence of children’s rights and education for solidarity. Bringing together many volunteers in a small team in Geneva, Terre des Hommes Suisse is characterised by its strong local roots. Its actions are carried out in collaboration with 60 local associations to protect children against violence and exploitation and to ensure their rights to education and participation in 10 countries in Latin America, West Africa, Asia and Switzerland.

Your support enables us to strengthen our commitment to children and young people who are the real agents of change for the emergence of a united and sustainable world.

We are therefore pleased to share with you today our annual report including our accounts for the year 2021. Thanks to the support of our loyal donors, we have been able to accompany more than 635’000 people, including 515’000 children and young people. 54% of the donations generously given to us come from the general public. It is therefore thanks to your trust and loyalty that we are able to carry our mission on a daily basis and in the long term.
