Annual report 2022

Annual report 2022

In 2022, after two years of pandemic, Terre des Hommes Switzerland worked to return to a certain normality, resuming the organisation of major events such as the March of Hope, which attracted more than 10,000 participants, including 3,000 children and young people.

Despite this return to normality, the indirect consequences of the pandemic continue to threaten children’s rights, with alarming indicators in terms of education and protection. The organisation has therefore continued its efforts to support the return to school, strengthen the protection of children against exploitation and violence, and support their active participation in their communities. Faced with growing poverty and high inflation, Terre des Hommes Switzerland helped a total of 435,000 people, including 296,000 children, thanks to the commitment of its 57 partner associations.

In addition, the organisation is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030, in line with its commitment to a sustainable future for children.
