Terre des Hommes Switzerland is committed to ensuring that children have access to education and avoid dropping out of school in the countries where the organization works.
The distribution of homework, home visits by teachers, school support by young people for children in their communities, the creation of school gardens to facilitate the learning of certain subjects: these are all actions undertaken to ensure that the right to education is respected.
Terre des Hommes Switzerland has also been particularly active in supporting the adoption of participatory and non-violent practices: the children are then actors in the acquisition of knowledge and regain a taste for learning!
