The strategy of Terre des Hommes Suisse consists in providing local populations with concrete means to improve children’s lives. We get involved in long-term programs, that way our beneficiaries have the possibility to implement the changes necessary to guarantee children’s essential rights. We are convinced that it is indispensable to take account of the needs and elections of the population directly concerned, which is why we favour the participation of young people and work to reinforce local citizenship in Southern countries.
